The following list is comprised of all officers of the Continental Army or Navy who were eligible for membership in the Pennsylvania Society. They include the Original Members (those who joined in their lifetime), those who were eligible but did not join in their lifetime (these are denoted with a suffix of (1854)), and those officers whom we have been able to confirm as having died in service. Such names may provide a basis for an application for election to membership in the Society. Any such application shall comply with the Society's requirements for the election of hereditary members. Descendants of some of these members and officers currently represent them as hereditary members in the society.
